Installation + Styling

Formerly a masonry warehouse built in 1905, this three-bedroom loft is home to a young couple in the heart of Tribeca. The apartment’s 12-foot-high ceilings and modern finishes provided the ideal canvas to create a home that was uniquely theirs—an oasis from the bustling city just beyond the loft’s walls.

Using a neutral palette as our base, we added visual interest to the bright and airy space through varied textures and strategic pockets of color. In the Entry, the blue grass cloth wallcovering juxtaposes the ivory Living + Dining area, which features the same blue in a pair of silk velvet pillows + abstract art.

Pared down furniture silhouettes bridged the gap between the modern architecture and the couples’ more traditional sensibilities. Hand-painted De Gournay panels adorning the Master Bedroom walls add a sense of whimsy to the Parsons-style canopy bed + nightstands.
